MEETING BABY VINCENT

February 27, 2016

My first taste of baby after moving back to North Carolina, and he was oh soo sweet! This cutie was the perfect model. He put up with all the different poses we wanted to try and patiently waited while his big sister cuddled up to him for some stunning sibling shots!

It's best to do newborn sessions with babies within the first two weeks after they're born. Baby V. was really easy to work with and part of that is due to the fact that he was only 8 days old. Newer babies are more likely to curl up in “womb-like” poses, stay asleep longer and have a more reliable feeding schedule.

Again this is only part of the reason why we had no trouble getting this little man to nestle into his parent's outstretched hands and curl up in his Daddy's baseball glove- I have the feeling Baby V. knew he was center stage and loved it! I adored the way he posed himself naturally, right down to his tiny little fingertips and I was even lucky enough to get a wink or two!
